Strengthening the implementation of the Provincial People's Committee's targets on social assistance, the elderly and the disabled

Khanh Hoa Department of Health has just issued a document requesting departments, branches, sectors, organizations and localities to strengthen the implementation of targets and tasks in the programs and phase plans of the Provincial People's Committee on social assistance work, work for the elderly and people with disabilities in the province.

Accordingly, agencies, units and localities continue to review all programs and plans of the Provincial People's Committee on social assistance, work for the elderly and people with disabilities to organize the assessment of the implementation results of the assigned targets and tasks by the Provincial People's Committee. For the targets and tasks that have not been completed in the programs and plans for the period up to 2025, agencies, units and localities are requested to have specific solutions to complete 100% or more of the targets and tasks by the end of the period. With newly issued programs and plans such as Plan No. 5197 dated April 29, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating the plan to implement Decision No. 383 dated February 21, 2025 of the Prime Minister approving the National Strategy on the Elderly to 2035, with a vision to 2045 in the province, agencies, units and localities are requested to develop specific plans for each stage and each year; review and continue to implement assigned tasks according to the roadmap, ensuring the completion of 100% or more of annual and phase targets and tasks. Periodically, departments, branches, sectors, unions, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities send reports on the implementation results of annual and phase programs and plans to the Department of Health for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Health according to regulations...
