Strive to basically complete and open the entire Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025

(BDO) On the morning of June 6, at the Binh Goi Bridge construction site on the Binh Duong side, Mr. Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Prime Minister's Inspection Team No. 7 inspected and listened to a progress report on the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project. Accompanying him was Mr. Bui Xuan Dung, Deputy Minister of Construction. On the Binh Duong side, there was Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.

The delegation listened to the units report on project progress.

Reporting to the delegation, Mr. Tran Hung Viet, Director of the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board, said that up to now, the work of receiving and handing over the site to implement the packages has reached 100%; in June 2025, the relocation of technical infrastructure will be completed. Currently, the volume of component project 5 has reached 37.5% compared to the contract volume. Of which, Package XL1 for the construction of Tan Van intersection is under construction, reaching 18.26%; Package XL2 for the construction of Binh Chuan intersection has reached 42.94%; Package XL3 for the section from Binh Chuan to Saigon River has reached 34.67%; Package XL4 for the construction of Binh Goi bridge has reached 71.13%, up to this point, meeting the set progress, ready to close and complete the package in 2025.

After listening to the reports and instructions from the units at the inspection session, Mr. Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister, highly appreciated the spirit of effort and determination to speed up the progress of the localities where the Ring Road 3 project passes through. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, and Dong Nai have thoroughly grasped and implemented the Prime Minister's instructions. The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the project progress results of the units, and at the same time requested the localities, investors, and construction units to resolutely and urgently speed up the construction progress, work overtime, and increase shifts; ensure the quality and efficiency of the project as well as safety during the construction process, striving to basically complete and open the entire Ring Road 3 route of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.

Up to now, Binh Goi bridge project is ready to close.

Component 5 project currently has 658 engineers and workers, 327 pieces of equipment and 43 construction teams. According to the Provincial Traffic Department, construction units will speed up progress, work overtime, and are determined to ensure compliance with the plan.
