The Radio Frequency Department is spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity, enhancing the application capabilities of Gen AI.

On June 6, 2025, in anticipation of its 32nd anniversary (June 8, 1993 - June 8, 2025), the Radio Frequency Department successfully organized the "Conquering Gen AI - Breakthrough Thinking, Practical Application" competition to raise awareness and skills in using next-generation artificial intelligence (Gen AI), while encouraging creativity and the application of technology in daily work throughout the Department.

The competition brought together 17 teams from units under the Department, with a hybrid format combining in-person participation in Hanoi and online participation via regional Radio Frequency Centers across the country.

In his opening remarks and guidance at the event, Mr. Le Van Tuan, Director of the Radio Frequency Department, emphasized the strategic importance of Artificial Intelligence: "AI cannot replace humans, but those who know how to use AI will replace those who don't. As an agency with a long tradition of applying information technology within a Ministry that spearheads digital transformation, we need to continue maintaining that position by understanding and using AI effectively."

On the occasion of the Department turning 32 years old - an age of resilience and innovation - the Director also expressed his hope that each official, civil servant, and employee will find new progress in their own digital transformation journey.

The competition consists of three main rounds:

Round 1: Knowledge test and presentation of Gen AI application ideas.

Round 2: A practical skills challenge using AI tools to summarize and present content.

Round 3: Presentation and defense of practical applications of Gen AI in the workplace.

Besides the main rounds, the " Creating Funny Images " sub-round provided moments of relaxation, showcasing the creativity and humor of the competing teams.

Final results:

• First Prize: Regional Radio Frequency Center VII
• Second Prize: Regional Radio Frequency Center IV
• Third Prize: Technical Center

At the closing ceremony, Director of the Radio Frequency Department Le Van Tuan presented the book "Techniques for Formulating Commands for GPT Chat" to the participating teams.

The current and former leaders of the Department took a photo with the winning teams at the Hanoi venue.

The competition is not only an intellectual playground but also a testament to the Radio Frequency Department's determination to master technology, create breakthrough values, and contribute to the overall development of the industry.
