Money stick dance, also known as money stick dance, is a dance of the Mong ethnic group, imbued with martial arts and diverse in movements; developed from the ancient dance with 18 weapons of the Mong people, often taking place during Khao Quan and Gau Tao festivals and important rituals in daily life. The colorful traditional costumes of the Mong people combined with the graceful movements of the Sinh Tien dance have created a beautiful impression on tourists. The Sinh Tien stick dance has been practiced by Bac Ha district in schools, clubs, art troupes and performed at traditional festivals. At the same time, the province proposed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to register it as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The money stick dance with the participation of 600 students at the final round of the 18th Bac Ha District Traditional Horse Race in 2025 has become the activity that attracted the largest number of performers ever, within the framework of the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival.
