Actress Phi Thanh Van was appointed Deputy Director of the Institute of Culture, Traditional Brands and Human Resources Development.

Phi Thanh Van was appointed Deputy Director of the Institute of Culture, Traditional Brands and Human Resources Development, under the Vietnam Craft Villages Association from the end of 2024, but it is only now that the actress has shared the information with the media.

According to Decision No. 10/2024/HHLNVN, she will hold this position for 2 years with the responsibility of developing plans and implementing the institute's operating programs.

This is not the first time Phi Thanh Van has taken on a leadership role. Since April 2023, she has held the position of Deputy Head of the Central Office of the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education in Ho Chi Minh City. In May 2024, she was appointed Director of the Southern Center for Culture, Arts and Communication under the Institute for Cultural Development and Community Health Care.

Taking on many roles at the same time, Phi Thanh Van believes that "if there are no challenges, how will you know how great your abilities are?" Despite being busy with management work, she still maintains artistic projects such as the film Upper Ambition, which will start filming in August 2025, and the show Multi-talented Child Artists season 2.

Phi Thanh Van was born in 1982, famous for her role as Phuong Trinh in Ugly Girl (2008) and was nicknamed "the plastic surgery queen" because she had had many cosmetic surgeries.

Regarding her personal life, in November 2024, Phi Thanh Van publicly announced her new boyfriend, who is nearly 10 years older than her, from the West, and is a businessman in the construction industry. "I consider this a worthy gift after two failed marriages. We got to know each other carefully and came together with the same feelings, so I believe this relationship will last," she shared.
