On the morning of October 25th, the international cruise ship Discovery Princess successfully docked at Cam Ranh International Port, Khanh Hoa province.

Approximately 1,200 tourists, mostly from Bermuda, disembarked to explore the area. After arriving at Cam Ranh International Port, the tourists will have a day to participate in tours visiting the Ponagar Tower, Long Son Pagoda, and Dam Market.

Visitors can also choose from tours to experience the craft villages of Truong Son, tours along the Cai River, and country cycling tours, among others.

Discovery Princess is a luxury cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises, which commenced operations in 2022 and has a gross tonnage of 145,281 GT.

The ship has 19 decks, a capacity of 3,660 passengers, and boasts a range of high-end amenities such as specialty restaurants and a modern theater.

This is the 19th international cruise ship to dock at Cam Ranh Port, Khanh Hoa province, since the beginning of the year.

According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, since the beginning of the year, the locality has welcomed nearly 22,300 tourists from international cruise ships to visit the area.

It is expected that by December 2025, Khanh Hoa will welcome an additional 7 international cruise ships with approximately 10,000 passengers.

Along with efforts to improve infrastructure to meet the needs of receiving luxury cruise ships, Khanh Hoa's tourism industry is also developing many tourism products suitable for international cruise ship passengers coming to "check in".

It is estimated that in October 2025, the total number of guests served by tourist accommodation establishments will reach 817,000, an increase of 21% compared to the same period in 2024.

In the first 10 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 14.8 million visitors, an increase of 16.1% compared to the same period in 2024 (reaching 94.3% of the 2025 plan).

Of these, international visitors are estimated to reach over 4.6 million, an increase of 17.6% compared to the same period (reaching 86.8% of the 2025 plan); domestic visitors are estimated to reach over 10.2 million, an increase of 15.4% compared to the same period (reaching 98.1% of the 2025 plan).

Total revenue from tourism is estimated at VND 60,318.9 billion, an increase of 20.1% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 90.8% of the 2025 plan.
