On the afternoon of June 4, speaking at the conference to summarize the implementation of the task of searching, collecting and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information in the period of 2021-2025, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Head of the Steering Committee for searching, collecting the remains of martyrs and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information (Steering Committee 515) of the city, affirmed that in the past 5 years, the City Steering Committee 515 has thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the project of searching, collecting and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information, the decisions of the Prime Minister , the National Steering Committee 515 and Military Region 5 on the implementation of the task of searching, collecting and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information to departments, branches, sectors and localities in a timely manner, in accordance with regulations.

The City Military Command coordinates with departments, branches, sectors and organizations to effectively carry out the work of searching, collecting and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information in the period of 2021-2025. At the same time, promote information and propaganda activities, using many forms and measures, to create consensus among the people and partially meet the wishes of relatives and families of martyrs. In particular, organize the exhumation and collection of martyrs' remains for burial in martyrs' cemeteries in accordance with regulations; promptly ensure the regimes and policies according to the Prime Minister's decision on regimes, policies and assurance work for organizations and individuals performing the task of searching and collecting martyrs' remains.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested units and localities to continue to mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and all classes of people to actively participate in providing information, coordinating the search, collection and identification of martyrs' remains with missing information. At the same time, review and analyze data to conclude the area to create a map to search for and collect martyrs' remains in the second phase; conduct appraisal of the conclusion of the area, create a map to search for and collect martyrs' remains at all levels. Build an integrated database of martyrs and martyrs' graves; add to the map to search for and collect martyrs' remains; provide information on martyrs and martyrs' graves to relatives and families of martyrs.
Over the past 5 years, under the direct leadership and direction of the Steering Committee 515 at all levels, the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee, the attention of the Party committees at all levels, departments, branches, sectors, and organizations of the city, especially from the martyrs' relatives, the results of searching, collecting and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information have achieved very important results, meeting the expectations of relatives, families of martyrs and people... In the period of 2021-2025, the City Steering Committee 515 mobilized military forces and coordinated forces to participate in 14 search surveys with about 430 working days and collected 34 remains of martyrs. At the same time, the handover to families and localities inside and outside the city was carried out to hold memorial services and bury the remains of martyrs solemnly, thoughtfully, in accordance with regulations.
On this occasion, the City People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 16 collectives and individuals with achievements in carrying out the task of searching, collecting and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information in the period 2021-2025.
