This afternoon (June 3), more than 16,400 candidates at 36 examination councils in Ha Tinh completed the first exam session with 2 subjects: Math and English.

The morning of the first exam day in Ha Tinh took place in extremely hot weather, but the good preparation of conditions for the exam, adequate preparation of drinking water, support and guidance for students before entering the exam room by the forces... also created a light, comfortable mentality for the candidates, and peace of mind for parents when bringing their children to the exam site.

This afternoon, the candidates will take the Literature exam.

According to the majority of candidates, the exam questions for the two subjects were quite suitable and in line with the goals of the 2018 GeneralEducation Program.

According to the comments of candidates and teachers, this year's Math exam is quite basic, closely following the sample exam and has no surprises. The exam is suitable for the ability, the knowledge content according to the exam requirements is suitable for the time to do the exam; the knowledge is in the program that has been learned and reviewed, so it is not difficult for candidates. With this exam, students will have a score range of 7-8.

In English, candidates said that 40 questions in 60 minutes were quite comfortable for them to do the test. The test closely followed the knowledge in the curriculum and review, although there were some unexpected elements according to the new program, but the review process, the candidates were guided and supported by teachers, so the students were not too surprised. Many candidates said that with this test, getting a good score is not too difficult.
