Bustling construction of 2 highway connecting to Ha Tinh city

(Baohatinh.vn) - The contractor is making efforts to speed up the construction process with the goal of putting two parallel routes connecting the North-South Expressway with Ha Tinh City into operation by the end of June.

These days, Minh Ngoc Construction Investment Company Limited is mobilizing human resources and machinery to construct asphalt concrete on Ngo Quyen road - provincial road 550 through Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district.

The weather in Ha Tinh is currently extremely hot, but with reasonable construction time arrangement, the contractor still ensures construction progress with the goal of putting the project into operation by the end of June 2025.

Ngo Quyen - Provincial Road 550 is one of the traffic routes connecting the North - South Expressway with Ha Tinh City. The route is 5km long, starting from the intersection of National Highway 1 with Ngo Quyen Street (Thach Trung Ward, Ha Tinh City), ending at the intersection of the expressway with Provincial Road 550 (Luu Vinh Son Commune, Thach Ha District).

Engineer Nguyen Dinh Giang - Project Commander said: The project will start construction at the same time as the commencement of 3 expressway component projects in phase 2021 - 2025 through Ha Tinh - January 1, 2023.





Up to now, the project volume has reached 85% of the plan with the completion of foundation, roadbed and technical works on the route, and asphalt concrete pavement of 3.2/5km.

Currently, contractors are taking advantage of favorable weather to focus on paving asphalt pavement...

..., and install the remaining span of Cay 2 bridge project.

The highway connecting route runs mostly through rice fields.

The area running through the residential area is located in Thach Trung ward (Ha Tinh city).

Many items on the route have been basically completed.

Taking advantage of the favorable weather in early June, Corporation 319 ( Ministry of National Defense ) mobilized 30 locomotives, equipment and 50 engineers and workers to focus on speeding up the construction of the provincial road 550 - Ham Nghi extended road project. This is a parallel route of the North - South expressway in Ha Tinh city.

The 4km long parallel highway route starts at the intersection with the extended Ham Nghi road (Thach Dai commune, Ha Tinh city, under construction), and ends at the highway intersection with provincial road 550 (Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district).

The parallel highway also mainly passes through rice fields, with little impact on existing residential areas.

To date, the parallel route has completed 70% of the volume. The contractor is striving to put the project into operation by the end of June 2025.



The contractor is focusing on completing the bridge items on the route.

When put into operation, the connecting and parallel route will help people in Ha Tinh city and surrounding areas travel more conveniently and easily when entering and exiting the North-South expressway.

The routes also help reduce the load on provincial road 550 - which is the only traffic route for people in Ha Tinh city, Thach Ha district and surrounding areas, when entering and exiting the North-South expressway.
