Hanoi 10th grade literature exam praised as 'close and within reach'

At 10:00 a.m. this morning, June 7, Hanoi candidates finished their first exam for grade 10, literature, with a time limit of 120 minutes. Many candidates rated the exam as familiar, closely following the structure and format of the sample exam.

At the exam site of Tran Duy Hung Secondary School (Cau Giay District, Hanoi ), most of the candidates were happy when they left the exam room. Nguyen Bui Diem Phuong (student of Thanh Tri Secondary School) said that the literature exam was not difficult for her.

"I have reviewed the questions in today's exam in class so I was not surprised. I could do them right after reading the questions," Diem Phuong said.

"The reading comprehension of the excerpt from the poem Happiness by Giang Nam, although it is a poem, the words do not have too many layers of meaning but clearly express the emotions the poet wants to convey, so it is easy to analyze," this candidate shared more.

Candidate Le Thuy Linh, Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School, had tears in her eyes because she didn't have enough time to do the test.

Also at this testing site, Le Thuy Linh (Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School) had tears in her eyes when she finished the test. Linh said that the "reading comprehension" section had 3 questions so she did not have enough time to develop all the ideas in the "writing" section. This candidate predicted to get 7 points for the literature subject.

As the first candidate to leave the exam site at Dich Vong Hau Secondary School (Cau Giay District, Hanoi), Le Nguyen My Khue, a student at Tran Duy Hung Secondary School, assessed that this year's exam was within her ability.

According to Khue, she did well on the test and is likely to get a high score. "After the first subject, I felt relaxed and excited to wait for the afternoon exam," Khue said.
