VietinBank shines at the event Digital Transformation of Banking Industry in 2025

On the afternoon of May 29, 2025, at the Government Office, the event Digital Transformation of the Banking Industry in 2025 was held, organized by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV). This year's event has the theme "Smart Digital Ecosystem in the New Era". VietinBank is honored to accompany this meaningful program.

This is an important event of the Banking Industry, taking place in the context of major resolutions on innovation and digital transformation of the country being issued and put into practice, especially Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

The event was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh . Also attending were Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong, representatives of leaders of central ministries and branches; leaders of financial, credit and technology organizations.

At the event, VietinBank's booth was honored to welcome Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong and the delegation within the framework of the Digital Transformation of Banking Industry 2025 event.

Not only opening accounts using the eKYC method, VietinBank is also providing corporate customers with online disbursement solutions on VietinBank eFAST - a breakthrough step to optimize the process, bringing convenience and efficiency to customers. Accordingly, VietinBank has disbursed more than 87,000 online transactions with a value of more than VND 270,000 billion, the online disbursement rate is currently 36%.

In addition, VietinBank is also the pioneer bank to deploy online disbursement for individual customers on the VietinBank iPay Mobile application. With just 5 minutes of operation, customers can access loans with a limit of up to 3 billion VND/day, operating flexibly 24/7, bringing unprecedented convenience, meeting the immediate capital needs of people.

One of the impressive highlights at the event was the presentation by Mr. Tran Cong Quynh Lan - Deputy General Director of VietinBank on the application of AI technology, typically the virtual assistant VietinBank Genie. Trained from more than 2,000 documents, regulations, and internal policies, Genie has become a powerful tool, supporting VietinBank staff in their work, helping to save 95% of Q&A time and handling more than 350,000 questions after only 2 months of implementation. Not only providing internal support, VietinBank is continuing to develop Genie to advise customers, propose smart financial solutions, personalized for each segment, affirming the strategic vision in applying technology and data to financial services.
