Focus on implementing socio-economic development programs for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas

The Provincial People's Committee has just decided to implement Resolution No. 23 dated July 20, 2022 and Resolution No. 10 dated April 26, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation on principles, criteria, and norms for allocating state budget capital and the proportion of counterpart capital of local budgets to implement the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Quang Nam province for the period 2021 - 2025, issued together with Resolution No. 23 dated July 20, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to preside over advising the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for National Target Programs for the period 2021 - 2025 to manage, operate and implement the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in Quang Nam Province for the period 2021 - 2025; develop an implementation project for the period 2021 - 2025, and an annual plan to implement the program.

Based on the needs and proposals of sectors and localities, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance to develop a capital plan to implement each project and sub-project of the program, advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Provincial People's Council in accordance with regulations.

The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance and relevant departments and branches to develop a plan for allocating development investment capital and career capital from the state budget in the medium term and annually in accordance with the prescribed principles, criteria and norms; send it to the Department of Finance for synthesis and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee...
