Launching the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and responding to the Month of Action for Children

This is the 26th year that the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has been deployed by the Central Youth Union Secretariat, taking place from April to August 2025 with many consistent contents, contributing to socio -economic development and solving issues of community concern.

This year's campaign is implemented synchronously, focused, and key, with a lot of creative content.

The campaign sets 12 key targets, notably organizing 10 million youth union members to participate in volunteer activities; supporting the elimination of at least 2,000 temporary and dilapidated houses; planting 8 million new trees; repairing 3,000 km and building 600 km of rural roads; providing career counseling and job placement for millions of young people; organizing 5,000 free swimming classes for children...

The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has many new points such as adjusting and adding 3 new targets on the content of supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses; ensuring that each commune, ward and town has at least 1 digital literacy team; implementing projects and tasks to welcome party congresses at all levels...

At the program, the Central Youth Union and accompanying units presented a symbolic board of support of more than 4 billion VND to Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union to implement programs in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness, initiative and creativity of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in updating, changing and supplementing new activities for the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign to suit the context and situation, in order to successfully implement new guidelines and policies of the Party and State.

Comrade Do Van Chien suggested that the Central Youth Union Secretariat direct all levels of the Youth Union and Association to evaluate the results of 25 years of implementing the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, thereby promoting advantages and overcoming limitations. Continue to select specific tasks that young people have strengths to carry out, creating a vibrant and practical revolutionary action movement, continuing the glorious tradition of the Youth Union. Contribute intelligence and youthful strength, together with the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to solve difficult and new tasks, promote the strength of the great national solidarity bloc, combine the strength of the times, build a peaceful, unified, independent, democratic and prosperous country as beloved President Ho Chi Minh always wished.
