Khanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural Palace comes into operation

On the morning of June 1, Khanh Hoa province held the inauguration ceremony of the Children's Cultural Palace, located at 62 Thai Nguyen Street, Nha Trang City.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural Palace was officially put into use from June 1, 2025 after nearly 18 months of construction. The project is located in the center of Nha Trang City with an area of ​​over 2.7 hectares, a total investment of over 544 billion VND from the state budget, invested by Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien, Director of Provincial Development Project Management, said that in the atmosphere of the whole country responding to the Month of Action for Children, the inauguration ceremony took place on International Children's Day, June 1, as a gift from the Party Committee and People of the province to children.

This project not only serves physical training and supports teaching and learning, but is also a place to practice many Youth Union and Young Pioneer activities, contributing to improving the qualityof education outside of school.

"The provincial children's cultural palace is also a dynamic learning environment, allowing for creativity, meeting the diverse development needs of children and teenagers," Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien affirmed.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural Palace consists of 8 blocks, of which Block A - Mang Non Theater is the heart of the project, with a modern stage, sound and lighting system, with a capacity of nearly 1,000 seats.

Block B is the central learning area for gifted classes; Block C is the administrative and boarding area, serving long-term classes and training programs, skills training; Block D is the Mang Non Sports Palace, a space for team activities and indoor sports practice.

Block E is an outdoor sports complex; Block F is an outdoor swimming pool for water sports competitions and training; Block G is a square set back from the central corner of the 6-way intersection, with the highlight being the water music performance area. And Block H is a children's playground with many games to support the development of thinking and skills.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural Palace is one of 50 architectural works awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam Association of Architects "Typical architectural works of Southern provinces and cities - 50 years of national reunification".

Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the completion of construction is just the beginning of an operation process, continuing to effectively use the project, promoting investment value, serving the goals of education, training, skill training, and comprehensive development for children in the province.
