Quang Binh promotes tourism and investment in the Czech Republic

On June 3, within the framework of the Program to promote Vietnamese localities in Europe, the Quang Binh Provincial Delegation led by Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with the authorities of Karlovy Vary city, Czech Republic.

This event is part of a series of important activities in the program to promote Vietnamese localities in the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy - Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassies in the countries and the People's Committees of the provinces and cities: Quang Binh, Bac Lieu, Vinh Long, Hue, Phu Yen to promote the image, cooperation potential and attract investment for Vietnamese provinces and cities in the European market.

Attending the meeting were Ms. Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová – Mayor of Karlovy Vary city and representatives of the regional council. On the Vietnamese side, there were representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Vietnam in the Czech Republic and relevant departments and branches of Quang Binh province.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam emphasized: “Quang Binh possesses great potential in tourism, science and technology and culture. We wish to promote cooperation with Karlovy Vary – a famous tourist and film city – especially in developing resort tourism, culture, creative industries and film studio destinations.”

On the Karlovy Vary side, Mayor Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová appreciated the attention from Vietnamese localities, affirmed the desire to strengthen bilateral connections and cooperation, and emphasized the bridging role of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic.

Karlovy Vary is known as the “spa capital” of the world, and is also a famous cinema center with the prestigious Karlovy Vary International Film Festival – opening up many potentials for tourism, cultural and media cooperation between the two localities...

From June 4 to June 13, 2025, the Quang Binh Provincial Delegation will continue its working and promotional program in the Czech Republic, Belgium and Switzerland, to promote multi-sectoral cooperation between Vietnamese and European localities.
