Domestic gold prices jumped in the opening session this morning (May 30), while the central exchange rate also increased by 16 VND.
At 9:00 a.m., Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji both listed SJC gold prices from 116.5-119.0 million VND/tael, while at Phu Quy Company, SJC gold prices were adjusted to 115.5-119.0 million VND/tael.
Thus, compared to the previous closing price, SJC gold price at businesses increased by 1 million VND/tael.
Meanwhile, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy is listed at 111.3-114.3 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 500,000 VND/tael. Similarly, the price of plain round gold rings of Bao Tin Minh Chau Company also increased by 700,000 VND/tael, the new price is from 114.0-117.0 million VND/tael.
In the previous session, domestic gold prices fell sharply, with SJC brand and gold rings both falling by 700,000 VND per tael.
In the world, the price of gold this morning increased to 3,319 USD/ounce, up 5 USD compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 104.7 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank .
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,978 VND/USD, up 16 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Agribank traded from 25,830-26,170 VND/USD, down 30 VND. BIDV Bank announced the USD exchange rate from 25,830-26,190 VND/USD, down 20 VND.
At the same time, Vietinbank traded from 25,805-26,165 VND/USD (buy/sell), down 15 VND, while Vietcombank traded from 25,830-26,190 VND/USD (buy/sell), down 10 VND compared to the previous session.
