This is a useful intellectual and cultural exchange playground, helping foreigners learning Vietnamese have the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to use the Vietnamese language, their understanding of Vietnamese culture and society , and connect with the international student community.
The Quang Nam team left a deep impression with two outstanding performances. The speech with the theme “Quang Nam - a land of loyalty and rich cultural identity” brought the image of a heroic and traditional Quang Nam.
The contest vividly depicts the image of heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Thu, patriot Huynh Thuc Khang, introduces outstanding heritages such as Hoi An, and the unique culinary culture through Quang noodles.
In particular, the competition also emphasized the close friendship between Quang Nam and two Lao provinces, Champasak and Sekong. The speeches were highly appreciated for their profound content, sincere emotions and impressive Vietnamese language skills of the Lao students.
The talent competition with a special art performance “The echo of Lao panpipes in the heart of Quang Nam”, blending the Lao cultural sound and the spirit of solidarity between the two countries, two brotherly cultures. The performance received enthusiastic cheers from the audience and the judges.
This is not only an opportunity for Lao students to demonstrate their progress in learning Vietnamese but also to affirm the spirit of integration, exchange and close friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
As a result, Quang Nam University won the second prize; the first prize belonged to Da Nang University of Foreign Language Education.
