In recent days, the weather has been erratic, creating favorable conditions for Aedes mosquitoes to breed, causing dengue fever to spread. Doctor Tran Van Chung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control, recommends that people actively kill mosquitoes, kill larvae and prevent mosquito bites. When there are signs of fever, especially in young children (high fever for more than 2 days) and signs such as: lethargy, restlessness, nausea, fussiness, refusal to breastfeed, refusal to eat, lethargy, bleeding gums, black stools, vomiting blood, cold hands and feet, they should be taken to medical facilities for timely diagnosis and treatment.
"Previously, the health sector also sent a dispatch requesting units to strengthen monitoring and early detection of epidemics in the community to localize and promptly handle outbreaks," added Dr. Tran Van Chung.
