Mr. Li Thac, Deputy Director of Guangxi Department of Commerce (China)

Facilitate the fastest customs clearance for lychees

Mr. Ly Thac.

In recent years, the import and export turnover of goods from China to Vietnam and vice versa has been increasing, including the import and export turnover of agricultural products. Strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and China, Guangxi province has always maintained good economic and trade relations with Bac Giang province. Lychee and other agricultural products of Bac Giang province are of good quality and are very popular with Chinese consumers. As a traditional market for lychee consumption in Vietnam, especially Bac Giang province, Guangxi will continue to play the role of a bridge and facilitate the export of agricultural products from Bac Giang province to China through the border gate of Guangxi province.

At the same time, strengthen propaganda and promotion of agricultural products, especially lychees of Bac Giang province; guide agricultural product buyers of Guangxi province to connect with Vietnamese enterprises, promote the establishment of long-term cooperative relationships between enterprises of the two sides. Continue to optimize the customs clearance model, open green channels for agricultural products at border gates to ensure smooth and convenient. The authorities of Bac Giang province need to strengthen guidance on procedures for enterprises exporting lychees and other agricultural products; actively promote the expansion of agricultural products exported to China; guide enterprises to export through many border gates to avoid congestion.

Arrange prominent display areas in supermarkets, making products easy to identify and attract customers; promote promotion and consumption through e-commerce channels, creating favorable conditions for consumers nationwide to access fresh Bac Giang lychee products. At the same time, support the export of lychees to Thailand through Central Group's retail distribution system; honor Bac Giang lychees at the 2025 Fruit Festival in Tien Giang province.
