Waste Audit Campaign

Recently, the College of Mechanics and Irrigation (Trang Bom district) launched a Waste Audit Campaign and developed an action plan to reduce plastic waste by 2025.

Accordingly, students are provided with basic and in-depth knowledge about waste auditing, benefits of waste auditing, waste auditing methods, waste auditing processes, methods of collecting, classifying and evaluating waste volume. Students also participate in activities such as: manufacturing recycled products from waste; composting biological pesticides from pineapple peels, classifying waste, challenging environmental knowledge...

The Waste Audit Campaign and the development of an action plan to reduce plastic waste not only aim to reduce the amount of waste generated on campus, but also lay the foundation for forming and spreading an ecological, environmentally friendly lifestyle to all staff, lecturers, and students of the school.
