Dong Nai Department of Health transferred the case of Nestlé Milo barley milk advertisement showing signs of deceiving consumers to the police for investigation and handling according to regulations.

On the evening of May 29, the Department of Health of Dong Nai province said that it had sent a document to the Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ) and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province reporting the progress of verifying information related to the advertisement of Nestlé Milo barley milk supplement food product of Nestlé Vietnam Company Limited (located in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City).

Previously, the Dong Nai Department of Health had sent a report to the Provincial People's Committee regarding the incident. On May 28, the Department continued to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to organize a meeting to agree on how to handle the food safety inspection activities at Nestlé Vietnam Company Limited.

According to the Department of Health , at the meeting, the inspection team reviewed relevant records and documents and agreed that the case showed signs of deceiving consumers and customers.

On that basis, the inspection team recommended that the Department of Health issue a document transferring the entire case file to the police investigation agency for further investigation.

Today, Dong Nai Department of Health has completed the handover of all relevant records and documents to the police investigation agency for verification and handling according to legal regulations.
