The exhibition, organized by the Hungarian Embassy in Vietnam, is a special event, held within the framework of the official visit of the Hungarian President to Vietnam.

The exhibition is a typical cultural activity within the framework of activities commemorating the traditional friendship and sustainable cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary, which has been built and nurtured over more than 75 years of diplomatic relations.

At the exhibition, President Luong Cuong presented the First Lady of Hungary, Sulyok Tamas, with a bầu, a very special Vietnamese musical instrument.

President Luong Cuong introduced the zither to Hungarian President Sulyok Tamas and his wife.

The precious photographs in the exhibition were taken by Bozoky Dezso (1871-1957), a Hungarian naval doctor, during his voyage to the Far East in the early 20th century.

These images, capturing the Saigon of yesteryear from a historical perspective, offer a rare glimpse into the life, architecture, and customs of Vietnam more than 100 years ago. What is particularly significant is that these photographs are being presented to the public for the first time.
