Tuyen Quang: Implementing the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2045

The People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province has just issued Plan No. 122/KH-UBND on implementing the Plan to implement the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2045.

The plan was issued to disseminate, thoroughly understand and seriously and effectively implement the Plan to implement the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2045, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 509/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2024, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

At the same time, specify the objectives, orientations, tasks, and main solutions in accordance with the characteristics of the situation and actual conditions, and implement the Plan to contribute to promoting the socio -economic development of the province. Create high consensus and unanimity in the awareness and actions of all levels, sectors, localities, units, enterprises, business households, and people in the province in organizing and implementing the Plan.

The content of the implementation of the Plan includes: Organizing tourism development space; Focusing on investment in developing growth poles and dynamic tourism development areas of the province; Prioritizing investment in developing tourism infrastructure connecting tourist areas and spots; Developing tourism products; Developing tourism human resources; Promoting tourism promotion; Strengthening tourism development linkages; Investing in developing resources and protecting the tourism environment; Strengthening support for tourism development policies, creating a favorable environment for tourism development.

According to the plan, the tourism development space will include 3 regions: Tuyen Quang City and its vicinity (Region 1); Son Duong district area and the East of Yen Son and Chiem Hoa districts, linked with ATK Dinh Hoa - Thai Nguyen (Region 2); Na Hang and Lam Binh district area linked with Ba Be Lake tourist area - Bac Kan (Region 3); Ham Yen district area and the West of Yen Son and Chiem Hoa districts, linked with tourist spots and areas of Ha Giang province (Region 4).

For region 1, Tuyen Quang City and surrounding areas, the orientation is to develop cultural tourism products, spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, resort tourism, high-end entertainment tourism, shopping, art enjoyment... associated with organizing festivals and major events of the province.

Meanwhile, zone 2 includes Son Duong district and the eastern part of Yen Son and Chiem Hoa districts, linked with ATK Dinh Hoa - Thai Nguyen to develop historical and cultural tourism products; eco-tourism at Tan Trao National Special Historical Relic Site, historical and cultural relic sites of the region...

Region 3 includes Na Hang and Lam Binh districts, linked with Ba Be Lake tourist area - Bac Kan to develop eco-tourism, culture, sports (kayaking, mountain biking...), resorts, experiences, community... And region 4 includes Ham Yen district and the west of Yen Son and Chiem Hoa districts, linked with tourist spots and areas of Ha Giang province to develop eco-tourism products, sightseeing, cultural, historical, spiritual, community tourism...

The plan focuses on exploiting the following types: Historical and cultural tourism products; Spiritual and festival tourism products; Ecological and resort tourism products; Community tourism products; Exploiting and developing new tourism products... Notably, historical, cultural and spiritual tourism products and festivals are shaped with important exploitation focuses such as promoting the value of the Tan Trao National Special Historical Relic Site; Organizing the Mother Goddess procession festival at Ha Temple, Thuong Temple, Y La Temple, opening the Huong Nghiem Pagoda festival in Tuyen Quang city, the Mother Goddess procession on Lo River in the direction of innovating methods and scale associated with auxiliary activities (Chua Van singing festival; entertainment activities in Tuyen Quang city area); Upgrading Thanh Tuyen Festival to become a Festival with international scale and brand, innovating content and organization methods associated with activities of displaying and parading mid-autumn lantern models associated with performing cultural activities to create highlights and attract tourists.....

The Provincial People's Committee assigns departments, branches, agencies, units and Chairmen of District and City People's Committees to seriously and effectively implement the specific tasks and jobs assigned in the Plan based on the Provincial People's Committee's Plan and the situation of the locality and unit; specify in the annual work plan, assign organizations and individuals responsible for implementing each specific task to ensure effectiveness.
