That is the information given by Ms. Dang Thi Tuyet Mai, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Ethnic Minorities Committee, at a press conference providing information on socio -economic issues in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of November 21.
At the press conference, Ms. Dang Thi Tuyet Mai said that the congress is expected to have 330 delegates attending, including 250 official delegates and 80 invited guests. Notably, out of the total 250 official delegates, 123 delegates are party members, accounting for 49.2%.
The oldest delegate attending this year's congress is Mr. Luu Van Cau (84 years old, Nung ethnic group) from the Go Vap district delegation (HCMC). The youngest delegate is Chamaléa Ui (18 years old, Raglay ethnic group) from the Binh Tan district delegation (HCMC).

The 4th Ho Chi Minh City Ethnic Minority Congress is expected to open its first session on December 5. The Congress will close on December 6 with an art program to celebrate the success of the Congress at the Conference Center 272 Vo Thi Sau (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).
On the sidelines of the Congress, many events will also take place, such as: Exhibition, display of images and artifacts about the process of participating in the resistance war for national liberation of ethnic minorities; Ho Chi Minh City leaders meeting and caring for ethnic minorities; ethnic minorities in the city; praising and introducing the cultural and artistic characteristics of ethnic groups;...
These events will be held from November 22 to December 6 at Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1) and at City Hall.
At the Congress, the Ho Chi Minh City Ethnic Committee will honor typical and outstanding examples in the fields of commendation. Among them, there is 1 collective receiving a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister and many collectives and individuals receiving certificates of merit from the Minister - Chairman of the Ethnic Committee; certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Commemorative Medal "For the development of ethnic groups".
