Hanoi Medical University said that admitted candidates who are eligible for direct admission after graduating from high school need to confirm their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training 's Admissions Portal before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.

Hanoi Medical University directly admits candidates with international and regional Olympic medals; or third prize or higher in national excellent student competitions in cultural subjects.

The school also directly admits candidates who have won prizes in international science and technology competitions; or who have participated in international science and technology competitions without winning prizes but have a foreign language certificate equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or higher; Candidates who have won first, second, and third prizes in national science and technology competitions are directly admitted to suitable majors; Candidates who have studied one year at ethnic university preparatory schools and have good academic achievements.
