The Department is continuing to review the cases of teachers and students who were victims of the terrible fire. The Department has also had policies to support and mobilize support for the victims.

The Department has directed the Thanh Xuan District Department of Education and Training and schools to continue reviewing cases of officials, teachers, staff and students related to the fire. For the deceased students, the Department has assigned the Industry Union and directed the Thanh Xuan District Department of Education and Training and other units to visit and arrange funeral arrangements with the families.
For students being treated in hospital and injured teachers, the Department and related units visited, encouraged and provided timely support.
In cases where students are slightly injured and may be psychologically affected, the Department has also directed schools to assign teachers to support, tutor, encourage, and stabilize the students' mental health.
The Department of Education and Training of Thanh Xuan district has worked with units and schools in the city to deploy many forms of support for families of students and teachers affected by the fire.

On the evening of September 13, Hanoi City Police said that, up to now, authorities have identified 56 dead and 37 injured (of which, the identities of 39/56 dead have been identified) in the mini apartment fire in Thanh Xuan district.
The fire broke out at around 11:30 p.m. on September 12, at a mini apartment building located deep in alley 29/70, Khuong Ha street, Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi.
