3 training programs of University of Commerce completed external assessment according to AUN-QA standards

In charge of this assessment is Prof. Dr. Evangeline P. Bautista - Head of the Assessment Team and experts; along with Ms. Achvadee Wiroonpetch - Member of the AUN-QA Secretariat.

After 3 days of urgent, impartial and responsible work, the delegation of experts pointed out strengths, shortcomings and made appropriate recommendations to help the University of Commerce have an overall view of the quality of training programs.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the survey, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the University, Associate Professor, Dr. Ha Van Su - Vice President of the University of Commerce respectfully thanked the ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA) and the Experts in the Evaluation Team for their guidance and coordination with the University to successfully organize the official survey at the University of Commerce.

Associate Professor, Dr. Ha Van Su - Vice Principal of University of Commerce said: “The school and our units will systematically review and review all of the school's activities, promptly develop an action plan, and allocate sufficient resources to overcome existing limitations with the utmost effort, demonstrating a strong determination to ensure quality commitment, synchronously operate the internal quality assurance system to contribute to increasingly improving the school's training quality, integrating with the quality of highereducation in the region and the world."

University of Commerce was established in 1960. After more than 60 years of construction and development, the University has always recognized the importance of quality assurance and accreditation activities.

Up to now, the University of Commerce has been recognized 3 times for achieving educational quality accreditation ( in 2007, 2018, 2023 ). At the same time, the University has conducted quality accreditation for 18/18 regular university training programs and achieved educational quality standards according to the set of standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training with a high rate of meeting the criteria.

The University of Commerce joined and became an official member of the ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA) on January 8, 2024 and has registered to evaluate 03 training programs: Commercial Marketing, Business Accounting, Finance - Commercial Banking.

After more than 1 year of active work by the staff in charge of the 3 training programs in particular and all individuals and units in the School in general, on May 22, 2024, the School completed the self-assessment report, list of evidence and core evidence of the 3 training programs and sent it to the Secretariat of the AUN-QA organization for appraisal.
