3 Korean stars attend the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival

Scheduled to take place from June 29 to July 5, the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III) is not only bustling with entries and screenings, but is also becoming more and more bustling with the appearance of special guests.

This year, the appearance of three names from Korea including Moon So-ri, Park Sung-woong and Ji Chang-wook is a highlight attracting the media and contributing to promoting cooperation and exchange between the two film industries of Vietnam and Korea.

For Moon So-ri, this is not her first time coming to DANAFF. In 2023, the actress became the president of the jury for the Asian Film category. She shared: "Among Asian countries, Vietnamese cinema left a deep impression on me. I believe that one day in the not too distant future, you can bring our country's cinema to Korea as well as Asia." This time, she will be accompanied by her husband - director Jang Joon-hwan. Recently, Moon So-ri made a strong impression when participating in the TV series When Life Gives You a Tangerine and was loved by the audience. Before that, the films Oasis, A Good Lawyer's Wife, The Handmaiden, Three Sisters ... also brought her name beyond the borders of Korea.

Having a profound influence and familiar to Vietnamese audiences through many famous works, two actors Park Sung-woong and Ji Chang-wook have also confirmed their participation in DANAFF III. With films such as Justice Hound (2023), The Gangster Meets the Ground (2023) ... Park Sung-woong has built the image of an actor who is always innovative with many diverse roles, with different personalities, from action, psychology to romance, emotion. Meanwhile, with a bright appearance and being one of the Hallyu stars with strong influence in Asia and the world , Ji Chang-wook with his performance in Smile Dong-hae (2010), Empress Ki (2013), The Savior (2014), The Girl Who Revenge (2024) ... also promises to bring special heat to this year's festival.
