Provincial Social Insurance trains new policies for social insurance and health insurance collection staff

On the morning of July 30, in Hong Gai ward, the provincial Social Insurance organized a training conference on new contents of the Social Insurance Law and the Health Insurance Law for collection staff across the province. The conference was held online, attracting the participation of 350 delegates who are social insurance and health insurance collection staff from collection service organizations.

At the conference, delegates were informed by the provincial Social Insurance's reporter of many important new points in the Social Insurance Law and Health Insurance Law No. 51/2024/QH15. Some notable contents include: Expanding the subjects participating in compulsory social insurance; reducing the conditions and time of social insurance payment to be eligible for pension; limiting the situation of one-time social insurance withdrawal; establishing a multi-layered social insurance system; along with changes in the voluntary social insurance policy applied from July 1, 2025...

In addition to accessing new information, the conference is also a forum for collection staff to share practical experiences in the process of promoting and mobilizing people to participate in social insurance and health insurance. Many questions and situations arising in practice were raised, focusing on issues such as: Death benefits, one-time social insurance benefits, maternity benefits for voluntary social insurance participants... These contents were directly answered, consulted and given specific instructions by the leaders and professional departments of the Provincial Social Insurance Agency.

Through the training session, the staff was equipped with more knowledge and skills to effectively convey social insurance and health insurance policies to the people, contributing to increasing the coverage rate and ensuring social security in the province.

Currently, the province has over 700 social insurance and health insurance collection staff working at 3 collection service organizations, including: Provincial Post Office , PVI Quang Ninh Insurance Company and HP An Nhien Company Limited.
