These seals are no longer valid and belong to agencies and organizations that are dissolved or merged into the new administrative unit and will be collected and destroyed in accordance with legal regulations.
As of June 25, Hanoi Police have completed procedures to withdraw and cancel seal samples and return results via public post to over 2,000 agencies and organizations.
It is expected that by mid-July, after the two-level local government model has stably operated, the Hanoi Police will complete the collection and destruction of 20,000 expired seals. At the same time, the City Police have just handed over to the Department of Home Affairs the seals of 126 new commune-level administrative units in Hanoi, ready to be put into use from July 1, ensuring the two-level local government model operates effectively, without any administrative procedures being blocked or interrupted.
To facilitate units, save time and money, people do not have to travel far and reduce crowds, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order - Hanoi City Police announces the time and place to collect stamps of the Police, People's Committees, People's Councils at the commune level and other types of stamps.
