Bac Ha meets and dialogues with businesses and investors on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day

Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Business Association and Tourism Association; leaders of neighboring communes, along with a large number of entrepreneurs, business owners, corporations, cooperatives and business households in the area.

Nearly 200 delegates attended the conference.

At the conference, the leaders of Bac Ha commune informed about the general development situation after implementing the 2-level local government model. Bac Ha was established on the basis of merging 6 communes, with an area of nearly 180 km², a population of over 30,000 people, and is the political , economic and cultural center of the old Bac Ha district.

Comrade Nguyen Duy Hoa - Secretary of the Bac Ha Commune Party Committee informed about the general development situation after implementing the 2-level local government model.

In the period of 2021 - 2025, the average economic growth rate will reach 12%/year, with per capita income reaching 48 million VND. The total mobilized social investment capital will reach over 5,800 billion VND, with many infrastructure, trade and service projects being implemented. The overall success is due to the significant contribution of the business community, with 48 enterprises, 12 cooperatives, 10 cooperative groups and 342 individual business households, helping Bac Ha complete the set development goals.

Bac Ha commune identifies four pillars of development, which are: Green tourism with strong identity; ecological and organic agriculture associated with tourism; modern, unique and happy urban center; regional linkage to exploit and promote the strengths of communes in the region in terms of culture, agriculture, transportation and human resources.

The leaders of Bac Ha commune requested businesses and investors to continue to accompany and promptly report difficulties and problems so that authorities at all levels can jointly resolve them; at the same time, promote the spirit of dynamism, creativity and cooperation in building a favorable and effective investment and business environment.

At the conference, representatives of corporations, enterprises and cooperatives expressed their deep gratitude for the companionship and support of the local government. At the same time, they hoped that the government would continue to implement practical solutions on planning, auction and management plans, legal procedures, administrative procedure reform, improving the investment and business environment and removing obstacles, especially in site clearance.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Bac Ha Commune People's Committee - Bui Minh Hai, emphasized: "The commune government is committed to accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for businesses, from providing information, supporting administrative procedures, arranging premises to coordinating to remove difficulties in the process of project implementation. Bac Ha wishes to become a place worth visiting, worth living and worth investing for all businesses, organizations and individuals with aspirations for development".

On this occasion, Bac Ha commune presented flowers to congratulate local businessmen and enterprises and rewarded outstanding units and individuals with many contributions to socio-economic development (photo above) .

Also at the conference, Bac Ha commune announced the decision to establish a Business Support Group and Bac Ha Tourism Development Fund, to support and attract investment for tourism, urban and local socio-economic development projects.
