Bac Ha Pharmaceutical Technology Joint Stock Company is a typical unit in the production of health protection foods from herbs, applying Nano technology. In particular, when Bac Kan province (old) implemented the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) Program, promoting its strengths and mastering technology, the Company invested in building a health food factory and put it into operation in 2018.

To improve product quality, Bac Ha Pharmaceutical Technology Joint Stock Company has proactively applied 4.0 technology and digital transformation, participated in online training courses with associations, and acquired a lot of useful knowledge to apply in production and business.

With the goal of providing quality products from Vietnamese medicinal herbs and becoming a leading unit in the production of Nano Curcumin and precious active ingredients in Nano form, Bac Ha Medicinal Materials Technology Joint Stock Company has promoted the application of science in production. To date, the Company has 11 products recognized as OCOP from 3 to 5 stars. Notably, in November 2024, three products including: Vicumax Limited Nano Curcumin, Vicumax Nano Curcumin and Vicumax honey Nano Curcumin were recognized as achieving 5-star OCOP at the national level.

Sharing about having 3 products recognized as 5-star OCOP at the national level, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le added: This is a great source of pride, especially when the Company's group of medicinal products are the first products in the country to achieve this category. The journey to complete the 5-star OCOP criteria set lasted 3 years with many difficulties, requiring large investments in finance, human resources, technology and equipment. Today, the dream of bringing Vietnamese medicinal products to the pinnacle of quality has come true.

Being classified as a 5-star OCOP product helps the group of 3 Vicumax Nano Curcumin products of Bac Ha Pharmaceutical Technology Joint Stock Company become the first group of health protection foods nationwide to meet this standard. The products have been licensed by the Ministry of Health for nationwide circulation and are eligible for export.

In particular, when launched on the market, the product received positive feedback from consumers, farmers and scientists, and was considered a symbol of an agricultural enterprise applying high technology in the right direction that the Company pursues.

Currently, Bac Ha Pharmaceutical Technology Joint Stock Company has a stable customer network nationwide. Product quality is improved thanks to the application of modern technology and the use of guaranteed input materials.
