44 works won prizes in the 2024 Hung Yen Province Literature and Art Composition Contest

On April 25, at the Provincial Museum, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province organized the award ceremony of the 2024 Hung Yen Provincial Literature and Art Composition Contest (Contest); opened the exhibition to display and introduce the achievements of 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art and literary and art activities in Hung Yen province after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) (Exhibition). The 2024 Hung Yen Province Literature and Art Composition Contest has the theme of praising the land and people of Hung Yen in 4 majors, including: Prose (short stories); poetry (poems, poetry collections); painting and photography. The contest was launched from April 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. After 9 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received a total of 435 works from 137 authors from 17 provinces and cities across the country.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Comrade Nguyen Duy Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented the A prize and flowers to author Nguyen Khac Hao.

According to the evaluation of the Jury, the entries basically adhere to the content and theme of praising the land and people of Hung Yen. Many entries are highly summarized and generalized, carefully invested, highlighting the beauty of the land, people and achievements of Hung Yen province in the past 50 years, since the country's reunification...

As a result, 44 excellent works were awarded prizes in the Contest, including: 4 A prizes; 8 B prizes; 12 C prizes and 20 Encouragement prizes. In which, the works winning A prizes include: photography category with the photo series "Proud of Hung Yen" by author Nguyen Khac Hao, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations; prose category with the work "Overcoming the fierce waves" by author Dinh Thanh Trung; poetry category with the work "My hometown" by author Nguyen Van Thich; painting category with the work "Sedimentary vein 22" by author Tran Ngoc Hung.

At the program, awards were presented to authors with excellent works winning the Contest. At the same time, the ribbon cutting ceremony opened the Exhibition displaying and introducing the achievements of 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art and literary and artistic activities of Hung Yen province after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

As planned, the Exhibition will take place from April 25 to May 5.
