Regarding the case of vomiting and diarrhea after eating bread, on the morning of May 3, Mr. Tang Quoc Lap, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Khanh City ( Dong Nai ) said that as of this morning, 447 cases had been admitted to the hospital for examination, medicine, and treatment.

Many children are being treated at Dong Nai Children's Hospital.

Of these, 321 cases are being treated at Long Khanh Hospital, 19 cases have been discharged, 96 prescriptions have been issued, all cases are in stable health, there are no serious cases. In addition, there are 12 cases being treated at Dong Nai Children's Hospital.

Of these 12 cases, 2 were very severe, requiring ventilators and dialysis, and their hemodynamics are currently stable; 1 case was in shock, and the remaining cases were relatively stable, with their condition improving.

Also according to Mr. Lap, this afternoon, a working group from the Ministry of Health will be in Dong Nai province to work with the Department of Health and hospitals as well as the People's Committee of Long Khanh city about the above incident.

Doctor Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Children's Hospital, said that the hospital has gathered all necessary machinery, equipment, medicines, and increased staff on duty in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Department, and Gastroenterology Department to be ready to treat patients.

Local leaders also visited the hospital to visit and encourage the families of the victims in the bread eating incident that led to vomiting and diarrhea...

As reported, on May 1, Long Khanh Regional General Hospital received 73 cases of stomachache, vomiting, diarrhea, fever... due to eating bread at B.

These people mainly bought bread from afternoon to evening, after eating, at midnight on April 30 and early morning on May 1, they had stomachaches, vomiting... so they were taken to the hospital starting from the morning of May 1. Currently, the authorities are also waiting for test results.
