According to information from the Department of Home Affairs, up to now, the city has resolved to let 227 cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces retire according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in implementing the organizational arrangement of the political system; Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP of the Government stipulating policies and regimes for cases of non-re-election, re-appointment and cadres who quit their jobs or retire at will and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in implementing the organizational arrangement of the political system.
Of these, there are 14 cadres and civil servants under the management of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and 208 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers under the management authority of departments, branches, sectors, district and county People's Committees and 5 cases of leave according to Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP.
Currently, the Department of Home Affairs is appraising to submit to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for approval 264 cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers working at agencies and units of districts, wards, and communes who wish to retire early or quit their jobs according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP.
