5 high-winning projects of Asian School students at the Science and Technology Competition

Students of Asian International School have won 2 Second Prizes and 3 Third Prizes at the City-level Science and Technology Competition for the 2024-2025 school year, organized by the Departmentof Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City. This achievement is a testament to the students' persistent efforts and affirms their outstanding abilities in the field of science and technology.

The projects that students brought to the competition are all highly practical , responding to urgent challenges of modern society and environment such as: recycling waste foam and rice husks to create new materials, designing and developing smart home models integrating artificial intelligence, manufacturing and testing systems to convert wave and wind energy into electricity, building models of drones to support delivery of goods and rescue, manufacturing energy-saving air-conditioning fans. These projects not only solve specific problems in practice but also contribute to promoting sustainable development, towards a future with a better living environment and friendlier technology.

Students demonstrate creativity and environmental awareness through highly applicable products.

With the project winning the third prize at the city level and the first prize at the school level for "Application of electromagnetic induction phenomenon in the manufacture of a system to convert wave and wind energy into electricity to make light buoys, warning lights at sea and navigation lights in mountainous areas", Ta Minh Ky (grade 12/18, Cao Thang campus) shared: "I want to contribute to the scientific and technical research movement of high school students in the city. This year's competition brings a useful and interesting playground, helping me and my friends to exchange, learn and share experiences ".
