A cluttered bedroom with too many objects can stimulate your senses, making it impossible for you to have a good night's sleep. Therefore, cleaning your bedroom is extremely necessary.
Here are 5 things that experts say you should remove from your bedroom immediately to have a good night's sleep and a relaxing space.
Dirty clothes on the floor
Clean up the clutter in your bedroom, starting with the floor.
“The quickest way to declutter your bedroom is to clear everything off the floor. Put dirty clothes in a hamper instead of throwing them on the floor, or hang half-worn clothes on a clothes rail instead of piling them up at the end of the bed,” says Michelle Urban.

Every night before going to bed, you just need to spend 5-10 minutes to collect and put away the objects lying on the floor to create a clean, tidy space.
Old papers, books and newspapers
Papers are one of the things that make your bedroom look messy. They often accumulate on a daily or weekly basis, making it difficult to sort through them.
"When cleaning out your paperwork, you should start by getting rid of unnecessary items like magazines, old newspapers, books, greeting cards, old letters, and manuals," says Michelle Urban.

Caroline Roberts, founder and organizing consultant of The Simplified Island, also says that piles of junk paper and old books need to be removed from the bedroom immediately.
"The bedroom should be a space for sleep. An overly cluttered room will stimulate your brain and prevent you from falling asleep easily," she says.
According to experts, you should use stackable file boxes to organize your papers in order and keep them neatly in the cabinet.

There are many things around that make the bedroom feel cramped and smaller. To make your bedroom more spacious, you don't need to renovate the space, just use the key called "minimalism".
“Get rid of items you don't use to free up space in your closet, shelves, and nightstands, like perfume bottles, dried flowers, old artwork, and anything else you no longer love,” Michelle advises.

“Less is more” is the right approach when designing your bedroom. Get rid of things you don’t use often. Also, remove all non-functional items or anything that doesn’t bring a sense of peace and relaxation from your bedroom.
Decorative items
You may want to display some decorations in your bedroom to express your personality, but too many decorations can make you feel overwhelmed.
According to expert Michelle, you should remove impractical furniture and decorative items from relaxing spaces like bedrooms.

Instead, stick to just 2-3 large decorative pieces that look impressive without feeling heavy or cluttered.
Dusty objects
"Excess pillows, thick curtains and lots of stuff under the bed are all things that collect dust and can affect your breathing," says Caroline Roberts.
Removing dusty objects will not only make the room more aesthetically pleasing, but can also improve the quality of your sleep.
If you have nowhere else to store these items other than under the bed, put them in a storage box to keep them looking neat and dust-free.

Cleaning your bedroom can be done in one day, however this can sometimes leave you feeling exhausted.
Instead, break the process down into smaller, more manageable chunks. For example, today you clean out your nightstand, and tomorrow you clean out your closet.
Once you've finished everything, maintain a daily or weekly cleaning routine to keep the room neat and clean.
