This year's "9 Rivers' Dating Singing" performance is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province.

With the theme "Convergence of the Nine Dragons Land", the Festival attracted the participation of 14 art units from 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta and Can Tho University, with nearly 700 artists, actors, musicians; 75 performances (41 duets, trios, and groups; 15 solos; 14 dances; 5 solos and instrumental ensembles).

The performance of the suite "Unified Belief" (Poetry: Tran Hieu Hung, music: Nguyen Ngoc Hien, choreography: Phuc Tuan, performance: male and female actors of the Provincial Cultural Center) won the Gold Medal at the 19th "Singing and dating of 9 rivers" Festival, 2024.

Each unit builds a comprehensive program, rich in various types of music and dance art, with a duration ranging from 30 to 35 minutes. Most of the content of the participating art programs is aimed at praising the leadership of the Party and Uncle Ho; fostering patriotism, patriotic traditions and solidarity of Vietnamese ethnic groups; affirming achievements in the cause of building and developing the country; honoring traditional cultural values, imbued with national identity as well as promoting the unique characteristics of the provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region in particular and the whole country in general.

After 3 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 15 Gold Medals (HCV), 28 Silver Medals (HCB) for Performance; Program Prize had 9 Silver Medals and 5 Gold Medals.

Participating in the Festival, the Mass Art Troupe of the Ca Mau Provincial Cultural Center created an art program with the theme "The Cape in harmony with the Nine Dragons". As a result, Ca Mau won the silver medal of the program, with 1 gold medal belonging to the performance of the song "Unified Belief" (Poetry: Tran Hieu Hung, music: Nguyen Ngoc Hien, choreography: Phuc Tuan, performance: male and female actors of the Provincial Cultural Center); 1 silver medal was the performance "The smaller the love, the bigger" (composed by: Ngoc Hien, performed by: Male Choir of the Provincial Cultural Center).

Ca Mau is one of 9 units winning silver medals at the Festival.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, the success of the Festival has many noteworthy points: the singing and dancing performances were elaborately and magnificently staged on stage, the singing was strong, skillful, delicate, and flexible, singing true to the nature of the work, creating a good impression and attracting viewers.

In addition, the team of non-professional dancers is strong. The programs participating in the Festival all have independent dance works suitable for the theme, good choreography, creative actors, emotional images; praising the love of homeland, love between people and nature, praising the hometown city with the peaceful life of the people of the Southern land. There are many good voices; the audience enjoys very powerful voices, good vocal techniques, confident, enthusiastic, passionate, vibrant, attractive performances.
