In the first 6 months of the year, Ninh Binh province's GRDP ranked 6th among 11 provinces and cities in the region.

According to the Provincial Statistics Office, the total social product in the province in the first 6 months of 2024 is estimated at 26,838.9 billion VND, ranking 6th out of 11 provinces and cities in the Red River Delta.

Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the province in the first 6 months of 2024 is estimated at VND 26,838.9 billion, an increase of 8.19% over the first 6 months of 2023, ranking 12th out of 63 provinces and centrally run cities and 6th out of 11 provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region.

Of which, the added value of sector I (agriculture, forestry and fishery) reached VND 2,617.5 billion, up 2.75%, contributing 0.28 percentage points to the GRDP growth rate of the whole economy ; sector II (industry - construction) reached VND 9,251.4 billion, up 10.45%, contributing 3.53 percentage points to the GRDP growth rate of the whole economy (industry alone is estimated at VND 7,205.9 billion, up 11.02%); sector III (services) reached VND 10,456 billion, up 9.43%, contributing 3.63 percentage points; product tax (excluding product subsidies) VND 4,514 billion, up 4.31%, contributing 0.75 percentage points to the GRDP growth rate of the whole economy .
