80 tourism survey units in Phu Quoc

(KGO) - On May 23rd, the Kien Giang Tourism Association announced that it had organized a famtrip with the theme "Phu Quoc - Paradise of the Sea 2025," comprising 80 strategic partners in the fields of tourism, media, accommodation, and entertainment services nationwide. The trip aimed to provide hands-on experience with new tourism products and to connect and share sustainable development directions for Phu Quoc's tourism industry in the future.

From May 22nd to 24th, the famtrip group surveyed and experienced services at VinWonders Phu Quoc, Grand World Phu Quoc, Hon Thom cable car, Sunset Town, the Quintessence of Vietnam and Colors of Venice shows, culinary services, accommodation facilities, traditional craft establishments, etc., in Phu Quoc.

According to Nguyen Thi Luyen, Director of Viet Contact Travel Company ( Hanoi ), Phu Quoc Island is receiving significant investment in tourism, resulting in distinctive and high-class tourism products and services. This has led to Phu Quoc attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists for recreation and relaxation.

“Viet Contact Travel is also a travel agency that brings many groups of tourists from the North and international tourists to Phu Quoc, especially Indian tourists. This is also one of the largest tourist markets to Phu Quoc, alongside Chinese and Korean tourists... However, surveys show that Phu Quoc still has few Indian restaurants. Hopefully, in the future, the locality will have more services to cater to this potential tourist group,” Ms. Luyen said.
