ESPN FC journalist Paul Murphy wrote on his social media account X (Twitter): "Regardless of the cause of the brawl, it is clear that the visiting team Buriram United did not have the necessary protection. Buriram United striker Ramil Sheydayev was violently punched and kicked by Zhejiang players. This is a very brutal image for a football match, many images and clips posted on social media show that the incident has gone too far. AFC will certainly have a very severe penalty for Zhejiang Club".
