Agribank Quang Tri proactively removes difficulties and promptly provides capital to customers

“Proactively remove difficulties and provide timely capital to customers”, said Mr. Phan Hong Hai - Director of Agribank Quang Tri Branch (Agribank Quang Tri) at the Conference on credit work deployment in 2024 for all credit officers in Quang Tri province.

At the Conference, comrade Phan Hong Hai spoke, commented and assessed the growth situation, credit quality as well as outstanding debt developments in the first two months of 2024, gave directions and key tasks in 2024, especially directed and thoroughly informed all officials attending the Conference to share difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing credit mechanisms and policies, focusing on research and proposing solutions to help customers access the most favorable incentive packages, while contributing to safe and effective credit growth, ensuring finance for the unit.

All staff participating in the training were informed about Agribank's preferential credit programs in 2024, target credit products and key tasks and solutions in credit work in 2024; Instructions on some contents on the FTP mechanism related to credit activities, and at the same time implementing the basic contents of draft regulations related to credit work such as: Draft Regulations on assignment and settlement for credit officers; Draft Regulations on archiving records for loan customers...

In addition, the Conference also spent time exchanging, discussing and resolving difficulties and problems regarding mechanisms and policies related to credit work arising during the implementation process to customers, at the same time sharing good and effective practices and solutions to support customers, grow and improve credit quality, and strive to successfully complete the 2024 plan targets.

Preferential interest rate credit programs for individual and corporate customers include:

– Preferential credit program for individual customers borrowing capital to invest in production and business of OCOP products with a scale of 2,000 billion VND. Time from February 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 (or until the program scale is exhausted). Preferential interest rate is up to 2.0%/year lower than Agribank's lending floor interest rate for 3-5 star OCOP products.

– Consumer loan program for individual customers who need consumer loans to serve their living needs with a scale of 10,000 billion VND. Time from February 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024 (or until the program runs out). Preferential interest rates are up to 2.5%/year lower than Agribank's floor interest rate for loans serving living needs.

– Short-term loan program for production and business activities for individual customers who need to borrow capital to serve production and business activities (not applicable to customers borrowing capital for securities trading) with a scale of 20,000 billion VND. Time from February 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024 (or until the program scale is exhausted). Preferential interest rate is up to 2.0%/year lower than the normal lending interest rate floor for individual customers of Agribank.

– Preferential loan program to finance investment projects for corporate customers who are borrowing capital from Agribank or other credit institutions to implement projects, buy back projects, offset project investment costs or completed projects, put into operation with a scale of 15,000 billion VND. Time from February 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 (or until the end of the program scale); Interest rate equals the first year's fixed interest rate from only 6.0%/year for medium and long-term loans.

– Preferential loan program for small and medium-sized enterprises in 2024 to supplement working capital for production and business activities with a scale of 10,000 billion VND. Time from February 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 (or until the program runs out). Preferential interest rates are up to 1.0 - 1.5%/year lower than Agribank's normal lending interest rate floor.

In addition, Agribank Quang Tri is also implementing interest rate support loans according to Resolution 100/2022/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2022 of the People's Council of Quang Tri province on interest rate support for loans to develop production, business, processing, preservation, and consumption in the agricultural sector, and at the same time continuing to provide preferential interest rate packages for business customers implemented from 2023 to March 31, 2024 such as: Preferential loan program for small and medium-sized enterprises with loan interest rates up to 0.5 - 0.7% lower than the normal lending interest rate floor; Preferential credit program to finance import-export customers with loan interest rates up to 1.0% lower than the normal lending interest rate floor.
