Despite a moment of wobble at the end of the second set, the Spaniard maintained stability from the back of the court, winning 88% of his first serve points.

He successfully saved 2 set-points in the tie-break of set 4, scored 4 consecutive points to close the match and win the right to enter the Grand Slam final.

Alcaraz is aiming for a third straight Wimbledon title and has a 24-match winning streak, matching Bjorn Borg's record. His opponent in the final will be Jannik Sinner or Novak Djokovic - both players with whom Alcaraz has a "fated relationship".

Fritz played well, winning 80% of his first-serve points, but struggled against Alcaraz's all-around presence. The 27-year-old American almost took the match to a fifth set but was unable to capitalize in the tie-break. Alcaraz now leads 3-0 against Fritz, their first meeting on grass.
