Warmth with the program "New Year's Eve with Mom"

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin - 2024, this morning, January 30, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee - Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union in collaboration with Quang Tri Trading Corporation Joint Stock Company organized the program "New Year's Eve with Mother".

Visiting the heroic Vietnamese mothers Nguyen Thi Phuoc, currently living in Ward 3, Quang Tri town; Mother Phan Thi Thuoc, Mother Dao Thi Vui, currently living in Hai Thuong commune, Hai Lang district; Mother Luu Thi Dy, currently living in Hien Thanh commune; Mother Pham Thi Oanh, Mother Ta Thi Phun, currently living in Trung Nam commune, Vinh Linh district; Mother Nguyen Thi Then, currently living in Gio My commune; Mother Nguyen Thi Nay, currently living in Phong Binh commune, Gio Linh district, the cadres, union members and youth kindly inquired about the health and encouraged the mothers. At the same time, they expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of the mothers; and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of fighting for national independence.

In the atmosphere of the days before Tet, union members and youths offered incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; gave mothers meaningful gifts; cleaned the house, went to the market, cooked New Year's Eve dinner and ate with mothers. Not only in the above localities, this program was also deployed simultaneously in the families of 21 heroic Vietnamese mothers in the whole province.

Launched in 2020, the program "New Year's Eve with Mother" has become an annual activity to express the deep gratitude of the young generation for the great sacrifices of heroic Vietnamese Mothers in the province during each Tet holiday.
