Ingredients for braised sea bass with ginger

1 sea bass (about 1kg), 1/2 tablespoon of saccharin powder (ground powder), 1 ginger root, a few shallots, a little tempeh, 1 chili, 2 green onions, about 3 tablespoons of rice wine, a little pepper powder, appropriate amount of spices, soy sauce, sugar, appropriate amount of cornstarch.

How to make braised sea bass with ginger

Step 1: Peel the onion, wash it and slice it. Peel, wash and thinly slice 1 piece of ginger, and mince the rest to get 1 tablespoon. Then put the minced ginger in a bowl, add saccharin powder, soy sauce and a little sugar with tempeh and mix well.

Step 2: Remove the scales and organs of the sea bass you bought. Then wash it, cut it into bite-sized pieces, marinate it with 1 tablespoon of rice wine, a little seasoning/salt, pepper powder and cornstarch for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Next, pour the ginger sauce evenly over the sea bass, add the sliced chili. Cover the pot and cook for about 5 minutes. Pour the remaining rice wine over the ceramic pot lid and continue cooking for another 3 minutes, then add the chopped green onions. Turn the heat down to low and cook for about 3-5 minutes until the water is almost gone, then turn off the heat.
