On April 9, in Ben Tre , the second press conference of the program "Gratitude of Coconut Country, Aspiration to Reach Far " took place. The program was organized by 3 units including the Liaison Committee of Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Journalists Club in Ho Chi Minh City and Ben Tre Entrepreneurs Club in Ho Chi Minh City with practical support from Ben Tre province.

Mr. Le Tan Buu, Head of the Liaison Committee of the Ben Tre Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that the program has 3 main activities: Ben Tre - Aspiration to Reach Far 2025 art photography contest and exhibition; opening ceremony, awarding of winning photo works and art music performances; special art program summarizing 50 years of Ben Tre literature and art after the country's reunification associated with the art program Gratitude of Coconut Country, Aspiration to Reach Far.
"The program aims to promote the image of Ben Tre homeland through cultural exchange activities and art performances, helping to spread the spirit of love for the coconut land to the Ben Tre community living, studying and working in Ben Tre and Ho Chi Minh City in particular, at home and abroad in general. From there, it contributes to connecting mutual love, supporting each other to develop together and towards the homeland of Ben Tre," said Mr. Buu.
In addition, the program is a bridge connecting entrepreneurs and enterprises inside and outside the province to promote business and production development in the future; at the same time, it is linked with the activities and economic development of the province.
Through the program, funds mobilized from sponsorship sources of businesses and individuals will be used to support and contribute to taking care of the lives of people in difficult circumstances in Ben Tre province. In particular, scholarships will be awarded, helping poor and studious students overcome difficulties; building and repairing houses of gratitude and love for families with preferential policies, helping those in difficult circumstances; organizing medical examinations, providing free medicine and giving gifts to the poor; building and repairing bridges and rural roads...
Mr. Nguyen Truc Son, Vice Chairman of Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee, assessed that after more than 35 years, since the first year of establishment, the Liaison Committee of Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Association in Ho Chi Minh City, together with 5 other local liaison committees, has consistently supported and made practical contributions in many economic and social security fields for the development of Ben Tre province. The program "An Nghia Que Dua, Aspiration to Reach Far" is also an opportunity for Ben Tre to promote tourism products, promote investment - trade...
The organizers added that the first program "Gratitude for the Coconut Country, Aspiration to Reach Far " mobilized nearly 7 billion VND to build rural bridges, charity houses, fresh water, scholarships, etc. for the people of Ben Tre.
