According to the introduction, the black and white photos were taken at British GQ in New York in 1991. In one photo, Kate Moss is sitting topless on the edge of a sofa. In another, she is lying on a chair.

“I’m so happy looking back because I met Kate in the 1990s. She was unknown in Los Angeles. She was young and looked like the mermaid of Copenhagen. I said, ‘Oh my God, this girl is like a dream.’ She didn’t care about anything and she was so beautiful,” Haddi said.

Recalling working with Kate Moss on a Bloomingdale's (New York) shoot after meeting her in California, Haddi said: “I think at first she didn't think I liked her because I hadn't worked with her in LA. But I wasn't, I was just as shy as she is now. There were two models over 6ft and she was a little embarrassed. I said, 'Honey, listen, just keep your style. You look pissed off, but it doesn't matter because you're beautiful even then.'”

Haddi later reunited with Kate at the Cannes Film Festival. At the time, she was dating Johnny Depp and had become a big star.

However, according to Haddi, she still talked to him in a friendly manner. She praised Haddi's beautiful photos of Johnny Depp and offered to collaborate.

“I was moved but also confused because I didn’t know what to do. I mean, it was more like an important mission for me than anything. Anyway, I took some photos of her there and then,” the French photographer shared.
