The rules are simple: whoever chases and catches the cheesecake first wins. The event is held in multiple races throughout the day for both men and women.

Alix Heugas, the winner of the women's race, shared her happiness at achieving this result. She said she had been looking forward to the event for a long time and when she learned she would be in England for about three months, she told herself she absolutely had to register to participate.

Jacob Vahey said people were running in all directions up the hill, but he was glad to get down safely and without injury.
Many theories suggest that the race originated as a way to pray for a bountiful spring, or stemmed from a land dispute between two landowners centuries ago.
Jacob Vahey, a participant, recounted that everyone scattered in different directions as they faced the terrain. He said the hill was much steeper than he had imagined, but he was still glad to have reached safety and come down unharmed.
