At exactly 6:15 p.m. on April 28, 1975, the entire squadron landed safely at Thanh Son airport (Phan Rang), without any losses.

After peace was restored, pilot Hoang Mai Vuong died during a mission. To date, five members of the Victory Squadron are still alive.
