Royal poinciana, also known as the golden scorpion flower or the queen's cassia, is native to South Asia and is considered the national flower of Thailand. Not only beautiful because of its brilliant flowers, this tree also symbolizes luck and faith in a bright future.

Each canary flower season lasts from May to about July, when the summer sun is more intense, the flowers become more brilliant and sparkling.

In Hanoi, Royal Poinciana was experimentally planted on some streets about 7 years ago, and quickly won the hearts of the capital's people because of its beauty, easily blending into the overall urban landscape of the city.

Not only stopping at aesthetic value, Royal Poinciana also has high usage value: hard, heavy wood, used to make farming tools, construction items; bark contains a lot of tannin; wood gives good charcoal. In addition, the tree also helps block wind and improve soil.
